- Graham and Lyndon winning the BforB '60 Second Sensation'
D2NA are proud members of the very successful
Business for Breakfast community in Staffordshire.
Pictured here are Graham and Lyndon receiving their trophies for winning the "60 Second Sensation'' at both their respective groups in the same week.
There are several meetings held across Staffordshire; Graham attends the group in Stoke-on-Trent and Lyndon attends a group in Penkridge.
So what is Business for Breakfast? Business for Breakfast is a business club whose key aim is to help its members significantly grow their business through relationship marketing and the passing of qualified & quality referrals.
One of the many ways to contribute is to pitch your business in 60 seconds. This opportunity is not only a great way of showing your competence and character; it is also an opportunity to be specific about the type of referrals you would like from other members.
Recently, a member came up with the idea of presenting an award for the best 60 seconds. The award was appropriately named ’60 Second Sensation’. As you would expect, this brought out the competitive side from most members – particularly Graham and Lyndon.
Being a business that delivers a service based on people’s time, the challenge was to come up with an idea that showed we were good at what we did using props and humour whilst ensuring we were specific. That idea could have only been customer 'heads on sticks'. Not literally of course, we used
recent video testimonials to create the heads on sticks.
So what was the winning 60 seconds then? Well here it is an example...
“D2NA are in the business of making people feel safe, secure and well cared for. The way we do that is we look after their IT network. This means we provide Expert Support to IT Departments or fully outsourced IT Support to SMB's. But don't believe us - believe what our clients say:
listen to them talk about us on YouTube
E.G.
Sarah Kirk – Optimum Technology Transfer Sarah says we are “Strategic, Responsive and Knowledgeable’
Melanie Bose – Omnium IT Recruitment Melanie says we are “Efficient, Effective and Human’
Alan Durkin – Lifeway’s Community Care Alan says we are “Reliable, Professional and Experts’
This guy, Alan is particularly important. This is due to the significant part D2NA have played in improving the IT infrastructure over the last two years, we now understand the needs and requirements of UK care companies which mean other UK care companies can benefit from our experience.
Today, I am looking for an introduction to Roger Trippet of AMG Nursing & Care Services who are based in Stone.”
Finally, BforB Staffordshire is holding a Networking Golf Morning on Wednesday 6th April.
